CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

P&H Customer Service Representatives (CSR), are responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the location, while strengthening existing customer relationships through a high standard of customer service. The CSR sources grain as well as promotes Crop Input sales from producers.

Day-to-day activities include:

  • Prospecting and new business development
  • Fostering and developing customer relationships
  • Procure grain from producers
  • Contributing to the success of the Crop Inputs business
  • Assist in Operations and Administrative duties as required in order to meet customer needs
  • Collaborating with other business areas and departments, as required

A successful CSR candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

  • Post-secondary in Ag related program or minimum two years’ experience in Ag retail business;
  • Minimum 2 years experience  in dealing with agricultural producers at increasing levels of responsibility, contracting grain and selling crop inputs;
  • Highly developed sales and customer service skills with the ability to execute on plans and deliver maximum revenue potential;
  • Thorough knowledge of the crops in the area along with experience in providing modern, effective crop protection solutions for the producer;
  • P.Ag or CCA certification (or the ability to obtain) is an asset;
  • Valid driver’s license.
